For four years, I have been able to paint on the Kuerner farm where Andrew Wyeth painted for 7 decades. This past fall, I tried to plein air paint postcards of several small scenes from the farm. Here is the final watercolor. You see the first is a view of the farm from the hay field. The top right is the table on the front porch. The bottom left is the back of the house and the woodshed where Anna cut wood to heat the house. I thought it might be interesting to see how I painted plein air in the rain. This was a barn located on Creek Road in Chadds Ford during the Brandywine Valley Plein Air in the fall of 2014.
